Learn insider Photoshop tips from award winning, critically acclaimed photographer Susie Reed who’ll share tools and techniques she uses in Photoshop to create vibrant, beautiful photos. She’ll demonstrate several ways to correct and enhance pictures. She’ll show how to brighten and enrich muddy, flat images. She’ll help students turn good pictures into great ones by enabling them to better understand some of Photoshop’s capabilities.

Please bring up to three photographs to work with on a CD. If you have a laptop computer with a full version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements installed please bring that to the class as well.

Participants should have basic knowledge of Photoshop.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Susie Reed has been a fine art and commercial photographer for over 30 years. Her pictures have been in major galleries and publications. Prior to joining the faculty of the Sedona Arts Center she taught at San Francisco Art Institute and California College of Arts and Crafts. Some of Reed's Southwestern rock art photos are permanently displayed in Sedona Visitor Centers, as the result of a Sedona Arts and Cultural Commission Artist Project Grant she received. Her critically acclaimed Southwest Rock Art calendars have sold worldwide. In addition to rock art Reed also loves photographing people, flowers, landscapes, vineyards and Farmer’s Markets. She shows her photography at Goldenstein Gallery in Uptown Sedona.
