| As you're shooting Sedona's beautiful landscapes, Susie will explain good ISO, shutter speed and aperture settings to use, whether to shoot jpg and/or raw, how to use filters, tripods and more. She'll also provide tips for creative composition and ways to develop your own unique eye. Moderate hiking is required. Please wear good gripping shoes, bring a tripod and if possible your camera manual, different lenses and filters. On December 7th Susie is doing a workshop where you can learn how to use Photoshop and Lightroom to do post-processing to improve and fix pictures, prepare photos for print, online, contests, exhibits and more. Space is limited. Advanced reservations required. The meeting address (in West Sedona) will be sent with confirmation. Please include your email, phone and say if you can drive when you register. | Susie will show how to use some of Photoshop and Lightroom's best tools to help improve pictures and do retouching. She'll explain how to upload, preview and organize photos, navigate menus and palettes, adjust raw files, use layers, masks and more. If possible please bring a laptop with Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge installed. Bridge is a companion application that is included with the software. Also please bring some of your photos to work on, which Susie can help you with. |

| Getting photos to look good can be challenging. Details get lost in shadows and highlights, the sky is washed out, unwanted elements or people can't be avoided, it isn’t sharp and more. Luckily many of these problems can be corrected in post-processing and/or by the kinds of exposures you take, which Susie will explain in this workshop. She'll help you recognize when a photo can be salvaged and how to do so using some of her favorite Photoshop and Lightroom tools. Prior knowledge of these applications is recommended. If possible, please bring a laptop with the applications installed and photos to work on. |

| Panoramic photos can be a dramatic way to show the grandeur of nature including Sedona's broad vistas, magnificant rock formations and places like the Grand Canyon. In this workshop Susie will explain how to shoot multple frame images that can be put together in post-processing to create panoramas. She'll also talk about when video or pano options on some smartphones and cameras may be a good to use. |

| In this workshop you'll learn to create panoramas from multiple shots by stitching (combining) them together with Photoshop and Lightroom. Susie will show how to align images, correct colors, fill in or crop out open parts of panos and more. Please bring one or more sets of photos created by shooting across or up and down a scene. Your pictures can be brought on a laptop, camera card or a flash drive. If possilbe, please bring a loptop with Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge installed. Prior knowledge of these apps is recommended. You can learn how to use them from Susie privately or in her Photoshop and Lightroom Basics for Photographers workshop on January 18, 2018. |
